Emily and Steven are one of those couples that I was REALLY looking forward to photographing their wedding. When I first met Emily and her Mom there was an instant connection. and then when I did Emily and Steven’s engagement shoot, I clicked with the two of them as a couple as well. These two had a longer engagement, and Emily had refereed me to everyone she knows throughout the process, and all of her friends ( who are also brides of mine now) turn out to be just as awesome and fun as she is! The love these two share is simply on of a kind. They are so into on another and I love when two people just fit so perfectly in one anthers arms! She had so many amazing details, like her hand made broach which took her about a year to make, and had broaches from past generations, and her friends and family. What a great way to carry the ones you love with you during the most important day of your life. She also had a stunning dress, hand made boutonnieres and bridesmaids bouquets, a sparkler exit, and a hot chocolate bar at her reception. SO much fun!
Emily really trusted in my photography vision, and let me have the reigns which always makes a photographer feel extra inspired. We were even able to do some sunset shots and night shots with Christmas lights surrounding us. These were breathtaking. I am beyond happy for this couple and at the end of it all, I felt like part of their amazing family! It’s a very rare occurrence that you can see so much love in one room, and thats just how I felt on Em & Steven’s big day. Congrats you two!
